IFFEC currently gathers to network member churches in three major events.

General Assembly

September 2010 | Coma-Ruga, Spain
The General Assembly is the conference of delegates of all member federations and as such the highest constituted authority. It decides on all questions of significance. It issues statements on religious and moral questions of public life if warranted by a given situation. It decides on the membership of federations within the IFFEC, the election of the members of the Executive Committee, and the budget. It accepts the report of the Executive Committee and decides on changes in the Constitution. The General Assembly is held every four years. The last General Assembly was held in Coma-Ruga, Spain September 13-17, 2010.

Joining Hands for Mission

April 2011 | Rehe, Germany
Joining Hands for Mission Across Europe is a mission conference whose dream is a spiritual revival movement in Europe. The goal of Joining Hands is encouraging the planting of churches in Europe and moving from a declining or plateauing church to a vital missional church. The second of the Joining Hands Conferences was held in Rehe, Germany March 28 – April 1, 2011. Resources from the Conference are available through the link below.

Theological Convention

September 2012 | Athens Greece
In order to foster international communication and theological training among federation members together with their theological schools, the Theological Committee organizes an IFFEC Theological Conference every four years. The Theology Conference is a meeting for teachers, students and leaders to reflect biblically and theologically within the context of the Free Church tradition on critical issues facing the church. The next Theological Conference will take place September 17-22, 2012 in Athens, Greece and the theme for the conference will be “Global Church and the Challenge of Diversity.”
